It is important to us that you get the event you want. At all
stages of organising your event, we will keep in touch with you and discuss how we can work with you to make this happen.
The band consists of the three of us with our own full PA system, tested
in accordance with Portable Appliance Testing where necessary. We hold full Public Liability insurance that covers you and
all your guests.
Between dances, we play tune sets or can incorporate a song spot
into the event so the entertainment continues during times when the dancers may wish to sit down......
You can use our PA to make announcements, speeches etc. during the
event, or if you would prefer us to do the announcements, please let us know.
If you want specific tunes or dances please let us know in advance
- and if you want "Happy Birthday" please let us know the name of the Birthday Boy/Girl - it helps! Also let us know
when you want this to happen in the running order.
What we DON'T do... (and it's not much)
We do not do wholly Irish nights, including St Patrick's-themed nights.
We do not supply background music during a supper or similar break,
either live or from tapes/CDs.
We regret we do not do outdoor events, or play in marquees, barns
or other outbuildins, etc. as we do not have the correct electrical equipment for this. However, if the barn or outbuilding
has been properly adapted as a venue for public events, this clause does not apply.
It is part of the contract that the organiser
of the event checks with the intended venue that the necessary Public Entertainment Licence is held to allow the event to
go ahead. Sandrigg cannot be responsible for this important requirement.
